Sleepy Start

Today’s travels began with an early 2:30 am wake up call and then drive to MPLS. I’m definitely not regretting my decision to only take one bag; it’s a heavy bag, but it is so worth it. There’s one more stop in Dallas and then it’s off to Siguatepeque. I’ve had my flat white with cinnamon for the morning, so I am a happy camper(: Upon arrival today, I’ll just be settling in and buying lots of toiletries. Pro tip: not bringing toiletries saves a LOT of room.

Funding Update

My trip has been fully funded (in excess)!!! Thank you so much to everyone who has been supporting me through prayer and finances! I was hoping to raise enough for most of my expenses. God had another plan: raise enough, and then raise two times that so that I can donate the rest while I’m there(: So, know that your support is not only going towards my expenses, but also going to people in Siguatepeque who need it a whole lot more than I do. This morning I was half asleep and I heard Him tell me, “See what I am doing? I’ve provided more than you need—and you haven’t even left yet.”
